Chi Psi is a private fraternity of gentlemen devoted to the personal and collective needs of its members. A selective association of diverse men, Chi Psi is dedicated to the cultivation of a unique environment which instills a lifelong commitment to Brotherhood.
The mission of Chi Psi Fraternity is to create and maintain an enduring society which stimulates intellectual, ethical and social growth and encourages the sharing of traditions and values. In this pursuit, Chi Psi will encourage leadership, respect for oneself and others, and responsibility to the university and community.
Trips & Retreats
At the Lodge, we make it a point to take some time out to relax. Every semester, we organize trips to take a break from classes and just enjoy hanging out as a brotherhood. In the fall, we find ourselves a cabin for our annual Mountain Weekend, and the spring is reserved for Formal, often at a beach. Our trip for Formal this past semester took us down to Destin, Florida for the weekend.
Social Events
Whether it’s football tailgates, cookouts, karaoke evenings, parties, date nights, or a paintball brotherhood event, we keep ourselves busy! Occasionally working with other organizations on campus, we put on a regular set of social events that get everyone hanging out. Outside of our regular events, you’ll always find a brother or their friends to kick back with. At heart, we’re a social fraternity that just enjoys each other’s company.
Philanthropy
Service is fundamental to our Alpha. Every spring, we host Pineapple Week – handing out fresh-cored pineapple to raise funds for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We also partner with the Red Cross each semester for campus blood drives, proudly serving as one of their strongest collegiate partners in the Atlanta metro area. Through these and other fundraisers, we keep ourselves deeply engaged with the community.
Campus Involvement & Leadership
From holding club leadership roles and launching new student organizations to participating in cutting-edge campus research, Chi Psi brothers are deeply engaged with the broader Georgia Tech student body. We consistently develop leaders at the Lodge for both internal and external opportunities. Our brothers boast active membership across a wide range of premier campus organizations, including GT HyTech Racing, Georgia Tech Esports, Propulsive Landers at GT, the Yellow Jacket Space Program, GTSF Investments Committee, GT SHPE, and many others.
