Fall 2024 Rush
Formal Rush will take place August 17th-22nd from 7pm to 10pm. Come by and visit the Lodge and get to meet the brothers anytime you like, and if you have any questions contact our recruitment chairs, Will Goldsmith and David Palomeque.
Formal Rush
During rush you will have the opportunity to visit any of the fraternities on Georgia Tech’s campus. You can stay for as long or as little as you like. There will be excellent food every night, and you can come meet some of the brothers. Rush requires no registration or financial commitment and requires no obligation to join. Every academically eligible man on campus can participate in rush regardless of their year in school.
Come by the Lodge and get to know the brothers. Rush is a get to know you process and the best way to do that is to get to know as many of the brothers as you can. The best way to get a feel for the fraternity is to meet its members. It is highly recommended to come back multiple days so that you can get to know as many of the brothers as possible. The more brothers you know the easier it is for you and the fraternity to know if you are a good fit.
Receiving a Bid
A bid signifies an official invitation to join the fraternity as a pledge. The brotherhood as a whole decides who they think would be a good fit to join the fraternity. Bids are given out through the week so don’t get discouraged if you don’t receive one on the first few nights. Chi Psi prides itself on getting to know its potential new members and values the time taken to meet them. Additionally don’t be afraid to ask the recruitment chair how the bid process works or about any other questions you may have.
